The Sun , The Moon and The Stars

Once upon a time,
there was a Little Girl,
with power so great and,
heart so strong,
that she had befriended,
The Moon and The Stars,
who dawned the sky all,
Night Long.

They played and sang,
and dance and laughed,
sharing laughter and joy,
and sadness with one another.
She made them shine,
brighter by the day,
they made her night,
calmer and gentler,
by shining their light,
until the day.

Slowly The Moon and
The Stars fade away,
leaving the little girl,
helpless in her wake.

Came along The Sun,
to brighten her day,
she dazed upon him,
night and day.
Not knowing the return,
of her old friends,
she kept burning her,
eyes looking at The Sun,
until she no longer can see,
outside the sun what is she.

The Moon and Stars,
want her smile back,
and A Sun that,
never hurts her eyes again.

So turn around Oh The Little One,
open your eyes to,
The Moon and The Stars,
play and sing and,
dance and laugh once again,
let them shine their soothing light until the day,

For they promise to never,
leave you again….
